Instruments played by Brett Marvin and the Thunderbolts
The Instruments of Pete Gibson
Pete has been playing oil drums since the late 70s, long before it became fashionable to do so. The Bretts refer to them as ‘tin cans.’
He has also been known to play anything in the vicinity of a gig with an interesting sound. Apart from the cans, he plays an assortment of traditional percussion instruments, including tambourine, whistles, tom toms etc.
He also provides Kid Ory style slide trombone and harmonica.
